This temperature-controlled safety shower valve is designed to help protect employees from burn injuries caused by overheated water in emergency shower systems. The valve automatically bleeds off overheated water from the safety shower, allowing cooler water from the supply line to reduce the water temperature before use. With an activation temperature that opens at 100°F and closes at 95°F, this self-resetting valve provides continuous protection for workplace emergency shower equipment. It features ½" NPT threaded connections on both ends for compatible safety shower installation in industrial, laboratory, and facility safety environments.
