ZING Danger Sign Respirable Crystalline Silica
ZING Eco Safety Sign "DANGER Respirable Crystalline Silica" clearly communicates hazards associated with crystalline silica. Crystalline silica has been classified as a human lung carcinogen. Exposure to crystalline silica can entail serious risks including illness, disability, and death. To address this serious health hazard, OSHA has established a Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) which specifies the maximum amount of crystalline silica to which workers may be exposed during an 8-hour work shift (29 CFR 1926.55, 1910.1000). OSHA also requires hazard communication training for workers exposed to crystalline silica and additionally requires a respirator protection program. ZING Danger Signs support OSHA compliance and supply critical information to workers regarding the dangers of crystalline silica.
